Denver Broncos guard Evan Mathis is questionable for Sunday against the New England Patriots due to an ankle injury.
Mathis returned to practice Friday after missing the previous two sessions, but will be a game-time decision, according to head coach Gary Kubiak.
If Mathis is unable to play, rookie Max Garcia is in line to start.
Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders appears likely to make his return after missing last week's victory over the Chicago Bears.
Sanders was listed as probable for Sunday's game.
He was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday with ankle and finger injuries, but was a full participant on Friday.
As expected, linebacker DeMarcus Ware is still sidelined with a back injury after being officially ruled out of the contest.
