Report: Dolphins' Matthews not expected to play vs. Giants

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Rishard Matthews isn't expected to play Monday night against the New York Giants, Armando Salguero of the Mimai Herald reports.

Matthews is still dealing with cracked ribs suffered in the Dolphins' Week 12 loss to the New York Jets.

With rookie DeVante Parker emerging, there's no reason for the Dolphins to rush Matthews back to the field before he's ready.
