Janikowski missed his only field-goal attempt and made his only extra-point attempt in Sunday's win over the Broncos.
Analysis:
Janikowski has now missed his only field-goal attempt in each of the last two games, and this week's was from 43 yards during a very crucial part of the game. With just over five minutes left, the Raiders looked to extend their lead to six points, which would have forced the Broncos to score a touchdown on their final drive. However, Janikowski missed the kick wide-left, leaving the lead at just three points and opening the door for the Broncos. Luckily, the Raiders' defense came up big, and they eventually went on to win. The veteran kicker has now missed wide left on his last two field goals. He still possesses a strong leg and the ability to make long kicks, but he's been very inconsistent of late. The Raiders get a date with the Packers in Oakland next week.
