St. Louis Rams wide receiver Stedman Bailey is out of the hospital and resting comfortably at home for the first time since a Nov. 24 shooting left him with two head wounds.
Bailey appears to be progressing well after a lengthy surgery and several weeks in the hospital.
What a great feeling it is to be home & away from the hospital. I need to put a Bow on my head and lay under the Christmas tree! π

The former third-round pick has been able to sign his name and talk, even advancing to walking and light jogging recently. All are good signs for his long-term recovery.
Bailey's teammates also visited him in hospital on Dec. 12.
