Arkansas tight end Hunter Henry is headed for the pros.
Henry, a junior, announced his decision to forgo his senior season and declare for the 2016 NFL Draft in a letter on the school's official website.
"I have grown so much as a person and player these past three years at the University of Arkansas," Henry wrote. "I have enjoyed my experience more than I could have ever imagined.
"As I move on to pursue my dream of playing in the NFL, I want to express my deepest thanks first and foremost to God for blessing me with the incredible opportunity to play football at the University of Arkansas."
Henry established himself as one of the elite tight ends in college football this year by posting 51 catches for 739 yards and three touchdowns. His receiving totals increased in each of his three seasons at Arkansas.
The consensus All-American is expected to be one of the top tight ends in this year's draft, and there's a good chance his name will be called within the first two rounds.
