Early indications are Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown escaped major injury after absorbing a high hit from Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict late in Saturday's wild-card game.
Brown left the game to be evaluated for a concussion and remains in the NFL's concussion protocol, though it's unclear what stage he's at.
Brown "is said to be fine and should be able to play against the Broncos," according to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
In order to play, Brown must clear the NFL's concussion protocol before Sunday's game. Based on a typical schedule of events, that's unlikely to happen until mid-week at the earliest.
