Don't look for the Jacksonville Jaguars to move to St. Louis now that it's an open NFL market, despite Jaguars owner Shad Khan's previous ties to the city.

Khan told ESPN's Nick Wagoner that the Jaguars will not relocate to St. Louis to replace the departed Rams.

The Jaguars used to come up every time relocation was mentioned, but the franchise is now firmly entrenched in Jacksonville, and Khan has invested millions in upgrading the team's stadium and facilities.

Khan tried to purchase the Rams in 2010, but was blocked when minority owner Stan Kroenke exercised his right of first refusal to buy out the shares vacated by former owners Chip Rosenbloom and Lucia Rodriguez.

"I really believe in fate or destiny, and I believe the Jacksonville Jaguars were my destiny," Khan told NFL.com's Connor Orr in October. "I believe, when it's all said and done, it couldn't have worked out better for me ... man, oh man, this was just perfect."
