Alabama's A'Shawn Robinson enters NFL draft; Henry makes it official

Alabama defensive lineman A'Shawn Robinson and running back Derrick Henry have officially thrown their names into the 2016 NFL Draft.

The two Crimson Tide players announced their decisions at a press conference Friday afternoon. Robinson was expected to head to the NFL after his standout season, as was Henry, whose decision leaked Thursday.

Robinson is widely considered a lock for the first round, and could reach the top 10 of the draft. The consensus All-American established himself as one of the most dominant run-stoppers in college football this year, as 35 of his 43 tackles came against the run - 7.5 were for a loss.

Robinson was also a factor as a pass-rusher, as he registered 3.5 sacks, 10 quarterback hurries, and two pass deflections.

Meanwhile, Henry's remarkable season resulted in a Heisman Trophy and several broken records, including Alabama's single-season and all-time rushing marks.

Henry told the press that he received a second-round grade from the NFL's advisory board.

Other notable players from Alabama, including defensive lineman Jonathan Allen and tight end O.J. Howard, were not at the press conference, but could still declare for the draft before Monday's deadline.
