Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy lost a challenge in Saturday's game against the Arizona Cardinals when a questionable catch by Larry Fitzgerald was upheld.
Fitzgerald snagged a pass, but appeared to lose the ball as he fell to the ground:

McCarthy challenged, presumably expecting the play to be ruled incomplete (much like the infamous Dez Bryant non-catch against the Packers in the 2014 playoffs), but it was upheld.
After the game, McCarthy indicated he feels the same way about the complicated catch rules as most fans do:

The NFL has suggested it plans to redefine the catch rules this offseason.
