Marshawn Lynch's mom says she doesn't know his future plans

Not even Marshawn Lynch's mother knows what he plans to do next season.

A day after Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider said he's under the impression that Lynch is "leaning towards retirement," Delisa Lynch admitted on Twitter that she has no idea whether her son is going to continue playing.

Lynch was limited to seven regular-season games in 2015 due to hamstring and calf issues, and an abdominal injury that required surgery. He returned for the Seahawks' divisional-round playoff game against the Carolina Panthers, but was a non-factor with just six carries for 20 yards.

Injuries aside, Lynch also carries an $11.5-million salary cap hit for the 2016 season, a big number for a running back approaching his 30th birthday.
