Report: Eddie Lacy, P90X creator discuss training together
Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy and his camp are in contact with P90X creator Tony Horton about training together, according to TMZ Sports.
No agreement has been reached yet, per the report. However, Horton previously stated that he'd love to work with the Packers running back.
Lacy regressed in his third year, falling under the 1,000-yard rushing barometer for the first time in his career.
Packers head coach Mike McCarthy bleakly stated that Lacy needs to lose weight for the 2016 season, after the club was eliminated from the playoffs.
"The Packers will get him ready for the season. My job will be to get the weight off and help him eat better," Horton said.
Lacy's progress will likely be monitored heavily by the Packers' rabid fan base, and if he gets result, it could give credence to the popular exercise regimen.
