Randle reportedly showed up at his ex-girlfriend's house hoping to get some rest before driving back to Kansas, but was unwelcome there, and the residents called police, Irving police spokesman James McLellan said.
When officers arrived, they discovered that Randle had an outstanding warrant for speeding in nearby Coppell, Texas and arrested him.
Randle was released by the Cowboys in November after a series of off-field incidents, including shoplifting a bottle of cologne and underwear from a department store, and allegedly threatening the mother of his son with a gun during an argument. He wasn't charged for the latter incident, but the NFL did suspend him four games for violating the league's personal conduct policy.
Shortly after his release, Randle was arrested again for allegedly assaulting an officer at Kansas casino. He was charged with four misdemeanors in that case.
