Peyton Manning jokes Tom Brady will play until he's 70
Until proven otherwise, it's conceivable that Tom Brady and Peyton Manning could play forever.
Manning was non-committal about his future on Super Bowl 50 Opening Night, and joked that his chief rivals in New England may be around until the end of time.
"(Tom) Brady's gonna play until he's 70, (Bill) Belichick is gonna coach till he's 90. Maybe I hit the fountain of youth, play the next 10 years," Manning said, via NFL.com's Conor Orr.
Manning's rivalry with Brady, Belichick, and the New England Patriots is part of football lore, and is arguably the best feud in league history. Manning's Denver Broncos upended the Patriots 20-18 in the AFC Championship Game to advance to Super Bowl 50.
It's hard to imagine the league without Brady and Manning, even if the Broncos star was merely kidding.
