Peyton Manning says he'll need hip replacement surgery later in life
Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has taken a pounding in his 18-year NFL career.
Though Manning is one of the best ever at avoiding big shots in the pocket, the accumulation of hits he's endured over the years has broken his body down.
Manning revealed Wednesday that a doctor's already told him he'll need hip replacement surgery in his 50s.
"I really didn't need to know that," Manning told reporters, according to The Denver Post.
Manning underwent four surgical procedures on his neck in 2011, the results of which he's still feeling today in the form of numbness in his fingertips.
Manning was asked Wednesday about a report that the late Ken Stabler's brain showed signs of CTE. Manning said he hadn't seen the report, but called Stabler a friend and "a prince of a guy."
