Rivera foolishly wastes final challenge to save 7 yards

Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera won a challenge early in the second quarter, but it could prove costly later in the game.
Rivera challenged that Peyton Manning was down by contact before he threw an incomplete pass. Granted, the Panthers won the challenge, but only gained a measly 7 yards.
The problem? Carolina lost a challenge earlier, meaning they still have almost three quarters to play where they can't ask the officials to review anything. If there is a blown call in the fourth quarter, Rivera and company are just going to have to live with it.
