Report: Broncos' Talib fined $26K for on-field infractions in Super Bowl 50

Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib has been fined $26,044 for two personal foul penalties committed during Super Bowl 50 against the Carolina Panthers, according to Troy Renck of The Denver Post.

Talib was fined for the face-mask penalty he committed on Panthers wide receiver Philly Brown as well as a taunting penalty he committed earlier in the first quarter.

It was reported that the NFL was considering suspending Talib after repeated offenses during the season, which ended with the 29-year-old being suspended for one game after poking Indianapolis Colts tight end Dwayne Allen in the eye.

The fact that Talib also openly admitted that he committed the viscous face-mask tackle on Brown on purpose was reportedly another major factor in the league considering another suspension for Talib.

Defensive end Malik Jackson was also fined $8,681 for a late hit during the game.
