Von Miller almost missed getting Kanye's signature on his Yeezys
Come on, Von!
Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller got an autograph on his Adidas Yeezy 750 Boosts from Kanye West during the rapper's "Saturday Night Live" appearance.
But the Super Bowl 50 MVP revealed Thursday that the signature almost didn't happen due to a missing writing utensil.
"Initially, I had sent the shoe over there with the host who had me on 'Saturday Night Live,'" Miller told ESPN, according to Complex. "She took it over there, and it got denied. It took about 45 minutes before I got the shoe back. She was like, 'Something happened where I couldn’t get the shoe signed.' I was like, 'Ah, I'm going to go over there personally and get the shoe signed,'"
Miller actually had the guts to ask Yeezy himself if he had a Sharpie.
"I was like, 'You got a Sharpie?' I asked him if he had a Sharpie, and Kanye had a look on his face like, 'Come on.'" Miller said. "I was like, 'OK, let me hurry back and run back.'"
West actually waited for Miller to return, marker in hand.
"I thought he was going to leave, because that’s what I probably would have did," Miller said. "I probably would have snuck off. But he stayed there and he signed the autograph for me."
