Browns want 'high-character' players, will address Manziel's future soon

Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson clearly indicated Wednesday that the team is ready to move on from quarterback Johnny Manziel.

Jackson opened his presser at the scouting combine by stressing that the Browns are looking for "high-character" players with a "passion for the game," which many interpreted as a knock on Manziel.

When asked about Manziel's future, Jackson said the franchise will address it soon and stood by the statement the team released two weeks ago.

"That behavior will not be tolerated ... and our organization is going to take a stand," Jackson said.

Jackson also guaranteed the Browns "will come out of this draft with a quarterback," but noted that it may not be at No. 2.
