Kevin Dodd pulls up with apparent hamstring injury during 40-yard dash attempt
Former Clemson defensive end Kevin Dodd pulled up awkwardly during his second attempt at the 40-yard dash on Sunday, appearing to suffer an injured hamstring.
While it's unclear how significant the injury is, it did keep Dodd from competing in the rest of the combine's workouts, with the 23-year-old opting not to participate in the positional drills.
His inability to show off his talent at the combine will make his pro day on March 10 even more important as he attempts to solidify his position as a first-round prospect.
Dodd, who many consider to be a top-five edge-rusher in the draft, posted an impressive official time of 4.86 seconds, with a 1.70-second 10-yard split, during his first attempt at the drill.
The 23-year-old still posted a 5.06-second official time in his second attempt.
