Joe Flacco flaunted reported $40M bonus check to less-rich teammates
Ah, the rich. They're funnier than the rest of us.
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco - who just signed a reported 3-year, $66.4-million deal - was up to some of his trademark antics on Tuesday.
Flacco, get this, fresh off being given a reported record-breaking $40-million signing bonus (you're going to love this) rubbed it in the faces of some of his less-wealthy teammates.
"I went down to the basketball court and showed Mike Campanaro and Kyle Juszczyk a check that they've never seen before," Flacco told the Raven's website while he and the host guffawed.
Great stuff, Joe. Really well done.
By comparison, Campanaro and Juszczyk signed bonuses that totaled $368,084 combined, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN. Sorry fellas, you won't be admitted to Joe Flacco's millionaires club.
Wealth: The great unifier.
