Marvin Harrison rips Terrell Owens for complaining about Hall of Fame snub
Former Indianapolis Colts receiver Marvin Harrison has traditionally been one of the quieter superstars in NFL history, but he was anything but quiet in an appearance on the Talk of Fame Network on Wednesday.
Harrison was announced as a member of the 2016 Pro Football Hall of Fame class in February, while Terrell Owens, who is second all time in NFL receiving yards, missed the cut. Owens was vocal about the results, saying he felt "disrespected."
Harrison said he wasn't worried at all about the possibility of he and Owens splitting votes and canceling each other out during the voting process, and appears to be even less worried about Owens' hurt feelings.
"The person who was supposed to get in got in. And that was me," Harrison said Wednesday. "If he didn’t get in, that’s his problem. He can talk all that other bullshit like he's been doing. That's on him. But I'm in. My jacket is gold. I will look in the rear view for nobody.
"So he can get his ass in whenever he gets in … if he gets in. If he doesn't get in, too bad. The hell with him."
