The Miami Dolphins signed wide receiver Griff Whalen on Friday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Whalen caught 19 passes for 205 yards and a touchdown in 14 games with the Indianapolis Colts last season.
The 26-year-old will likely compete against Matt Hazel and Tyler Murphy for the Dolphins' fourth receiver slot. Jarvis Landry, Kenny Stills, and DeVante Parker are firmly entrenched atop the depth cart.
Whalen went undrafted out of Stanford in 2012.
