While most New York Jets fans are worrying about who will play quarterback next season, there may be some question marks on the offensive line.
Current free agent and former Jets guard Willie Colon was asked about potential retiring on ESPN New York 98.7 on Saturday.
"I'm on the fence," Colon told hosts. "I still haven't decided if I'm going to go or not go. At this point, I'm trying to enjoy the couch and kicking my dog every morning. I'm taking it easy so far. I want to be smart. I don't want to rush it."
The 33-year-old has played for the Jets since 2013 and spent six seasons prior to that with the Pittsburgh Steelers, winning a Super Bowl in 2008. Colon missed 10 games in 2015 with a knee injury.
Colo was also asked about the future of teammate and friend D'Brickashaw Ferguson, who could possibly be released for salary cap reasons despite never missing a snap in his career.
"Obviously I want the best for him, but if they do release him it's going to be sad," said Colon. "To me, he's a ring of honor Jet and I think he should go down as a Jet in the Hall of Fame."
