Detroit Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy has joined the many to publicly disagree with Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay's comments about links between football and Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE).
Levy chimed in Monday via Instagram with a shot at Irsay's history with prescription drugs, saying: "Frequent trips to the pharmacy makes you a medical expert on CTE?"
Since NFL executive vice president of player health and safety Jeff Miller admitted there was a link between CTE and football, both Irsay and New York Jets owner Woody Johnson have disputed the evidence.
"I am not in a position (to opine on the link between CTE and football)," Johnson said recently. "I am a layman. (Jeff Miller) is a layman as well."
