A pair of Florida Panthers draft picks and OHL teammates are headed to the AHL.
The Panthers signed Finnish center Juho Lammikko, the club's third-round pick in 2014, to an entry-level contract Friday.
Florida's AHL affiliate, the Portland Pirates, also signed Lammikko to an amateur-tryout contract for the rest of the season and the Calder Cup playoffs.
Lawson Crouse, the Panthers' 11th-overall selection in 2015, also signed an amateur tryout deal with the AHL club Friday. He signed his entry-level contract last July.
The 18-year-old racked up 62 points in 49 games for the OHL's Kingston Frontenacs this season.
Lammikko, a 20-year-old center, notched 55 points in 59 points for the Frontenacs in 2015-16.
