Ovechkin claims 1st place on Capitals all-time playoff scoring list

Alex Ovechkin owns another Washington Capitals record.
With an assist on John Carlson's third period goal Monday - his second point of the game - Ovechkin took over top spot on Washington's all-time playoff scoring list, passing Dale Hunter.
With his assist in the third period, Alex Ovechkin passed Dale Hunter (72) for first place on the #Caps playoff points list.

Ovechkin added to his total later in the period when he notched another goal.
Hunter scored 72 points in 100 playoff contests with Washington, while Ovechkin broke the record in only his 75th postseason game.
Despite the impressive feat, Ovechkin wasn't fazed:
When asked what he thought about breaking Dale Hunter's franchise playoff record for points, Ovechkin said: "I don't care."
