The Buffalo Sabres have signed defenseman Brycen Martin to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Martin was selected 74th overall (third round) at the 2014 NHL Draft, and recorded six goals and 31 assists in 66 games for the WHL's Everett Silvertips this past season.
He's expected to join the AHL's Rochester Americans to begin the 2016-17 season.
