Report: Ducks could trade Fowler, Habs among most interested
Cam Fowler is reportedly a hot commodity.
Trade tralks involving the Anaheim Ducks defenseman are heating up to the point that he could be dealt before the draft Friday night, ESPN's Pierre LeBrun reports via TSN's Bob McKenzie.
McKenzie adds that the Buffalo Sabres are among several teams interested in Fowler, but Buffalo isn't keen on surrendering the eighth overall pick.
TSN's Darren Dreger also weighed in:

The Canadiens own the ninth selection in the first round.
The 24-year-old blue-liner has two seasons left on the five-year, $20-million extension he signed with the Ducks in the fall of 2012.
Anaheim signed defenseman Sami Vatanen to a four-year extension worth nearly the same amount last weekend.
The Ducks have about $15.7 million in cap space, but they have 10 free agents, including pending RFAs Rickard Rakell, Brandon Pirri, and Hampus Lindholm, and pending UFAs David Perron, Jamie McGinn, and Chris Stewart.
Fowler has spent his entire six-year career with the Ducks, who selected him 12th overall in 2010.
