The hockey world, like the rest of America, was shocked and saddened by the shootings that left five officers dead following a police brutality protest in Dallas on Thursday night.
The Dallas Stars' Twitter account sent out a heartfelt message early Friday morning.
The Stars' two best players offered their thoughts.
Their teammates followed suit.
Nashville Predators defenseman P.K. Subban provided a short but particularly poignant statement.
Former Stars blue-liner Jason Demers also chimed in.
