Rangers' Henrik Lundqvist: Looking to return Tuesday
Lundqvist (illness) was dealing with the flu when he missed Team Sweden's previous World Cup contest, but told reporters he is optimistic to return Tuesday against Team Finland, Joe McDonald of ESPN reports.
Analysis:
Lundqvist's last minute scratch against Russia likely caused more than a little heartburn for fantasy owners, but news that it was the flu has likely calmed those nerves. Much like the Rangers themselves, many owners likely have tied their long-term fantasy success to the netminder, which is not a bad strategy when you consider he has only once failed to win 30-plus games, and that was the lockout-shortened 2012-13 campaign.
