Team Europe could be down a major scoring threat when they face Canada in the World Cup's final round.
Forward Marian Gaborik is dealing with a lower-body injury suffered in Saturday's semifinal win over Sweden, according to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.
Europe coach Ralph Krueger confirmed the injury, stating that there's no timeline for his return, but the team will continue to manage the ailment. Krueger would not confirm a report that Gaborik left the Air Canada Centre on crutches with a cast on his leg.
Gaborik has been one of Europe's top players at the tournament, scoring two goals in four games.
