Russia's Kuznetsov on 2018 Olympics: 'We're all going to go'
John E. Sokolowski-USA TODAY Sports
Alex Ovechkin has said he's going to the 2018 Olympics with or without the NHL's involvement. It appears he's got a few guys who'll be joining him.
Evgeny Kuznetsov - Ovechkin's teammate on the Washington Capitals - scored two goals in four games at the World Cup in Toronto, finishing tied for second in team scoring. The Russians lost in the semifinal to Canada.
The 2018 Olympics will be held in Pyeongchang, South Korea. NHL participation remains up in the air, as the league, NHLPA, and IIHF haven't been able to come to an agreement.
