Watch: Yakupov blasts home 1st goal with Blues
FOX Sports Midwest
Somewhere, Peter Chiarelli is cringing.
Nail Yakupov scored his first goal with the St. Louis Blues on Thursday night, skating into the Minnesota Wild zone and firing a slap shot past goaltender Devan Dubnyk to give the Blues a 2-1 lead midway through the second period.
Yakupov was playing his second game for St. Louis after being traded by the Edmonton Oilers general manager last Friday for forward Zach Pochiro and a conditional third-round pick in 2017.
