Blues' David Perron: Dropped to third line
Perron was moved down to the third line during Wednesday's practice, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Analysis:
Perron had been skating on the second line, but was moved down to create room for Jaden Schwartz (elbow), who returned as a full participant at Wednesday's practice. The 28-year-old forward has averaged 18:34 of ice time, including 2:38 on the power play, but he's yet to register a point through the first four games. He may hold onto some of that power-play time, but he'll get fewer overall minutes outside of the top six.
