Oilers' Andrej Sekera: Not flashing much offense early
Despite seeing nearly identical ice time to last season, Sekera is off to a slow start in 2016-17, having netted no goals and two assists with just five shots over six games.
Analysis:
The lack of shots is the most concerning part, as Sekera averaged nearly two per game last year. On the bright side, he's gone plus-3 on an Oilers team that looks like it's improved significantly, and the fact that his power-play time is still there bodes well for an uptick in production. The Slovakian blueliner could yet match last year's 30 points.
