Jets' Michael Hutchinson: Struggles in Sunday loss
Hutchinson surrendered three goals on 15 shots in Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Sabres.
Analysis:
After turning in a solid effort in a shutout win over the Avalanche on Oct. 28, Hutchinson failed to build on his case to take over the reins as the Jets top goalie, as youngster Connor Hellebuyck took over after the first period. With Ondrej Pavelec out of the picture, the door is open for Hutchinson or Hellebuyck to take over the starting job, but they will be in a fairly even timeshare for the time being as the Winnipeg brass tries to sort out the situation.
