One doesn't expect Robby Fabbri to drop the gloves when the St. Louis Blues take to the ice, but that's exactly what he did Tuesday against the Buffalo Sabres.
The combatant? A somewhat reluctant Josh Gorges, as it turns out.
"I don't know what got into me there, but I just felt like I wanted to be that guy," Fabbri added.
Here's a look at the bout.
For the record, the fight was Gorges' ninth, while Fabbri dropped the gloves for only the second time in his young career.
If Blues teammate Ryan Reaves has his way, it'll be Fabbri's last:
Fabbri, who was making his return to the lineup after being made a healthy scratch, also scored a goal in the win, and it's safe to say he made a good impression following the benching.
