You can only hold off Connor McDavid for so long.
After keeping the league's leading scorer goalless for over 100 minutes this season, the Toronto Maple Leafs finally conceded a goal to McDavid, who turned on the jets before beating Frederik Andersen with an in-close snipe.
With an assist earlier in the contest McDavid now has 31 points on the season, becoming the first player to reach the 30-point plateau.
