Corey Crawford is sick, and his head coach doesn't seem very interested in talking about it.
The Chicago Blackhawks goaltender came down with an illness and won't dress against the Philadelphia Flyers at the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday afternoon.
Scott Darling will start in his place on the first day of a back-to-back that concludes at the United Center in Chicago against the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday.
Crawford is too ill to serve as the backup Saturday, so the Blackhawks are searching for an emergency option and could lean on 47-year-old goaltending coach Jimmy Waite, according to Chris Hine of The Chicago Tribune.
