Panthers' Keith Yandle: Departs game with lower-body injury
Yandle left Monday's game against the Bruins with a lower-body injury and will not return.
Analysis:
The veteran rearguard departed after just 4:51 of ice time, a far cry from his typical 22-plus minutes per game. He's the Panthers' highest-scoring defenseman with 12 points in 25 games, so it'd certainly send shockwaves through their lineup should he be forced to miss time -- especially on the power play, where he averages 3:32 per game. Stay tuned for further updates on Yandle's status.
