Sabres' Lehner stares down Bylsma, slams equipment after getting pulled
Robin Lehner wanted to keep playing.
The Buffalo Sabres goalie let it be known that he was not happy about being pulled after allowing three goals on 16 shots against Toronto. Lehner appeared to yell something at head coach Dan Bylsma as he skated past the bench, and slammed his equipment after taking a seat for good measure.
Note the fan to his right, whose kid Lehner waved to on FaceTime during the game, possibly letting Bylsma know he wasn't completely focused.

Lehner downplayed the incident after the eventual loss.
"I was just frustrated. We're still pretty close as a team. It wasn't anyone in general." - Robin Lehner on his yelling after getting pulled

"It's frustrating. ... I don't like to give up. I don't like to come out of the game." - Sabres' Robin Lehner.

Dan Bylsma added part of what makes Lehner a good goalie is his emotion, and he wasn't too bothered by the outburst.
