Sharks' Zack Stortini: Acquired from Senators
Stortini was traded to San Jose on Tuesday in a deal that brought Tommy Wingels to the Senators.
Analysis:
Fellow minor leaguer Buddy Robinson and a seventh-round pick accompanied him to the Sharks' organization. Stortini last played in an NHL contest during the 2011-12 season, with his last major contributions coming during the 2009-10 campaign, when he played in 77 games, recording 13 points. Given the Sharks' depth on the wings, it seems unlikely the 31-year-old will be called up anytime soon, barring unforeseen circumstances.
