Report: Ducks' Vermette will appeal 10-game suspension

Antoine Vermette will attempt to have his 10-game suspension for abuse of an official reduced.
The 34-year-old will appeal the suspension and - along with the Anaheim Ducks - will not comment on the matter until the process has been completed, reports Eric Stephens of the Orange Country Register.

Vermette's suspension comes after he slashed an official following a faceoff Tuesday against the Minnesota Wild.
