Senators' Tommy Wingels: Suffers injury Sunday

Wingels exited Sunday's game due to an undisclosed injury, Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia reports.

Analysis:

Wingels exited the bench during Sunday's contest and never returned. The veteran winger can return to action as soon as Tuesday against the Devils, but it appears that's not a given at this point. The club lost Mark Stone and Mike Hoffman to injuries Sunday and also announced prior to the contest that Bobby Ryan (finger) would likely miss extended time, leaving the club extremely shorthanded. If the trio all end up missing Tuesday's game, expect multiple new names in the lineup.
