Senators' Bobby Ryan: Given 4-to-6 week timeline
Ryan's broken finger will shelve him for 4-to-6 weeks, TSN's Darren Dreger reports.
Analysis:
While there's never an ideal time for a player to go down with an injury, this is especially poor timing with fellow forwards Mark Stone (neck), Mike Hoffman (groin) and Tommy Wingels (undisclosed) also banged up. There may only be a dozen or so games left in the regular season by the time Ryan's ready to return, though Ottawa appears poised to make it to the playoffs.
