NHLPA backs U.S. women's national team's labor fight

The NHLPA has thrown its support behind the U.S. women's national team and its ongoing labor dispute with USA Hockey, releasing this statement Friday:

The defending world champion announced it will boycott the upcoming world championships on home soil if "significant progress" isn't made in negotiations with USA Hockey over unfair wages and inequitable support.
