The Vancouver Canucks drafted Kole Lind with the 33rd overall pick at the 2017 NHL Draft on Saturday.

Lind had 17 more points than any of his Kelowna Rockets teammates. He disappointed in the postseason, posting just 12 points in 17 games, but scouts will be wise to not cave to recency bias.
Lind will need to bulk up in order to have the same physical and offensive impact he had in junior, but there's no denying the goal-scoring touch which took just one year in the WHL to blossom. He played 70 games in each of his past two seasons in junior, showing durability despite his lack of size.
