Golden Knights' Luca Sbisa: Nabbed by Golden Knights in expansion draft
Sbisa has been selected by the Vegas Golden Knights in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft, TSN's Bob McKenzie reports.
Analysis:
Vegas GM George McPhee sure does love his defensemen. Sbisa has one more year left on his contract with a cap hit of $3.6 million. Considering that price tag, the Canucks are likely glad to be rid of Sbisa. The 27-year-old played in all 82 games for Vancouver this past season, but he posted just two goals and 13 points. Sbisa is nothing more than a third-pairing defender at this point.
