Although it came after a losing effort, the Arizona Coyotes made sure to salute the Las Vegas crowd at T-Mobile Arena on Tuesday night.
The Golden Knights' home opener began with an emotional pregame ceremony honoring Las Vegas first responders and the 58 victims of the Oct. 1 mass shooting. The 5-2 victory made the Golden Knights the first NHL team to open its debut season 3-0.
