The Vegas Golden Knights traded forward Brendan Leipsic to the Vancouver Canucks on Monday for defenseman Philip Holm, the Canucks announced.
Leipsic joins Vancouver after putting up two goals and 13 points in 44 games with the Golden Knights this season. The 23-year-old was picked during the expansion draft from the Toronto Maple Leafs.
In Holm, the Golden Knights receive a 26-year-old defenseman who played all but one game with the Utica Comets of the AHL this season. In 42 games, he scored 11 goals and 29 points.
